1. Purpose of the Agent

Moonflow Talk is an automated AI-powered assistant designed exclusively to support payment management and debt collection–related interactions between businesses and their customers. The system operates within a strictly defined and limited functional scope and is not a general-purpose conversational AI. Moonflow Talk is intended to assist with operational communication related to payments and does not replace human agents or decision-makers.

The agent supports the following activities:

  • customer identification for payment-related purposes,
  • management of payment-related conversations,
  • registration of payment commitments,
  • confirmation of customer-reported payments,
  • escalation to human agents when required.

2. Nature of the System

Moonflow Talk is:
  • an automated system, not a human representative;
  • a specialized AI agent, not a general artificial intelligence assistant;
  • designed to operate under predefined workflows and rules configured by the client company.

The system does not impersonate humans and does not present itself as Meta AI or as an official Meta representative.

3. Scope and Functional Limitations

Moonflow Talk operates exclusively within the domain of payment management and debt collection communications.
The system:

  • does not engage in open-ended or general-purpose conversations;
  • does not respond to inquiries unrelated to payments or outstanding balances;
  • does not provide legal, financial, or credit advice;
  • does not make representations regarding consumer rights or legal obligations;
  • does not generate opinions or discretionary recommendations.

When a conversation falls outside its permitted scope, the system informs the user and disengages or redirects the interaction appropriately.

4. User Awareness and Transparency

Users interacting with Moonflow Talk are informed that:

  • they are communicating with an automated assistant;
  • the assistant’s role is limited to payment-related interactions;
  • the system operates according to predefined and transparent business rules.

Moonflow Talk does not claim human-level reasoning, autonomy, or authority.

5. Data Collection, Privacy, and Security

Moonflow Talk may collect and process personal data strictly necessary for payment management purposes, including:

  • customer identification data,
  • payment and account-related information,
  • conversation metadata.

All data processing is:

  • purpose-limited,
  • conducted in accordance with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws (including, where applicable, CCPA/CPRA),
  • restricted to systems authorized by the client company.
Moonflow does not use personal data for unrelated purposes and implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data.

6. Debt Collection Context

When deployed in debt collection scenarios, Moonflow Talk is designed to:

  • operate under rules configured by the client to align with applicable U.S. consumer protection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), where applicable;
  • avoid deceptive, abusive, or misleading communication;
  • support clear and factual payment-related communication.

Moonflow Talk does not independently determine legal status, consumer rights, or enforcement actions.

7. Decision-Making and Authority

Moonflow Talk:

  • executes actions based solely on deterministic rules defined by the client company;
  • does not make autonomous policy, legal, or credit decisions;
  • does not override human authority.
Final responsibility for payment policies, debt collection practices, and regulatory compliance remains with the client organization.

8. Human Escalation and Oversight

The system includes mechanisms to:

  • detect scenarios requiring human review or intervention,
  • escalate conversations to authorized human agents,
  • allow human follow-up and resolution.
Moonflow Talk is designed to support and augment human teams, not replace them.

9. Channel Availability

Moonflow Talk may operate across multiple communication channels, including:

  • WhatsApp
  • Messenger
  • SMS
  • Email
  • Web chat
  • Voice (with automated transcription)

The system’s functional limitations and safeguards apply consistently across all channels.

10. Integration with Meta Platforms

Moonflow Talk may be deployed on Meta platforms, including WhatsApp and Messenger, using approved APIs and infrastructure.
The system:

  • does not represent itself as Meta AI;
  • does not claim endorsement or authorship by Meta;
  • maintains a limited-purpose, specialized role.
All interactions are designed to comply with Meta platform policies applicable in the United States.

11. Safety, Abuse Prevention, and Reliability

Moonflow Talk includes safeguards to:

  • prevent misuse outside its intended scope,
  • avoid misleading representations of system capabilities,
  • ensure predictable, controlled, and auditable behavior.
The system disengages or escalates interactions that exceed defined operational parameters.
